Using and Caring for Heatable Plushies

How to heat your plush

  • Remove all tags.
  • Make sure your heatable plush is clean and dry.
  • Ensure your microwave is clean and your turntable can rotate freely.
  • Place your heatable plush in the microwave and heat for 30 second intervals.
  • If plush is not warm enough, continuing to microwave for 30 second intervals until the desired warmth is achieved. Take plush out and shake a little between intervals.
  • Remove from the microwave and use your heated plush to provide soothing warmth to muscle cramps, aches, and to keep warm on a chilly day!

Does your plush feel a little damp after heating?

Don’t worry! It’s completely normal for a small amount of moisture from our all-natural filling to collect on the surface of our heatable plushies after heating and should stop after a few uses.

Want to reheat your plush?

Always wait until your heatable plush has reached room temperature before reheating.

Be careful not to overheat your plush!

Your heatable plush can burn if microwaved for too long. Please stick to 30 second intervals and always stop if you smell burning.

Adult supervision is required.

Our heatable plush pals are suitable for all ages but should only be heated and used under careful adult supervision. Never give a heated plush to a child unattended.

Never heat your warming plush in the oven. Only heat plushies in a microwave.

Please be sure to read and follow these instructions carefully. If you overheat your plush, please wait until it has cooled to room temperature before disposing in your regular household waste.

How to chill your plush

  • Place your plush in a clean freezer bag.
  • Place your plush in the freezer for 2-3 hours.
  • Remove from the freezer and freezer bag, and use your chilled plush to feel cool, soothe aches, bruises, sprains, or to help reduce high temperatures.

How to clean your heatable plush

  • Surface clean with a damp cloth.
  • For tougher stains you may use gentle soap or a clear and gentle detergent (preferably one without dyes/perfumes like Tide Free & Gentle).
  • Rub the towel or toothbrush carefully but firmly on the stain.
  • Allow the cleaned area to dry naturally.
  • Other than soap/detergent, you can also use rubbing alcohol, alcohol cleaning wipes, and baking soda.
  • Use a lint roller to remove any dust, fuzzies, or other light debris from your plush.

Never place heatable plushies in your washer or dryer.

Because all our heatable plush contain organic filling material, they cannot be machine washed, dried, or submerged under water. Please spot clean only.
